“We’re in a State of Flow”
State Flow are a currently unsigned D.I.Y rock band from South Wales, UK who are aiming to get somewhere massive.
Launched on February 7th 2017 by Lead Vocalist/Guitarist, Rhys McCloy and Bassist Jordan Burton in the suburbs of Ebbw Vale.
State Flow have played many local and international gigs outside of Wales in popular venues such as, “The Fleece in Bristol”, “Cwlb Ifor Bach, Cardiff”, “Meze Lounge, Newport”, “The Duke, Neath” “EVI, Ebbw Vale” – supporting bands such as, Hands off Gretel, Chapel Row, Novana, The Satellites and Beth Blades and the Beautiful Disasters.
Lead Singer/Guitarist – Rhys McCloy – Rhys is State Flows main song writer and manager, as he is always picking up the slack from the other members ;). Rhys is the head and embodiment of the band. One word to sum him up – driven and doesn’t mind a bit of a piss up on a Saturday night.
Bass Guitar – Jordan Burton – Jordan is the life of the band. Always making the other boys laugh and messing about, most of the time is flowing through life writing funk songs. Although he may be a clown, he is still well motivated and is always down to create, expand and take on new ideas. One word to sum him up – creative and has a sick beard man.
Drums – Lloyd English – Lloyd has played many different types of music, but has found himself in State Flow. Not much to say other than one word to sum him up – punk and his hair changes more than Daniel Johns from 1995 – 2017
The band are currently working on their debut EP, “Organised Chaos” which will be recorded early February 2018 under the Leeders Vale Studios based in the Ebbw Vale Institute.
State Flow will also be recording their debut music video for their main track with Future Epic Productions who have recorded for bands such as Moose Blood and The Front Bottoms in March of 2018. So keep an eye out for us in Kerrang! Scuzz TV etc.
State Flow have a lot of future gigs lined up in 2018 ready for the release/launch of their debut EP.
